Drupaling along
Posted on May 30th, 2008 by TimAs I’ve mentioned in a previous post, we often use Drupal at Blueye for client sites. We aren’t the only ones! Universal music is using Drupal to power their new site, Nike is using Drupal for their Olympics site, and even FedEx has adopted Drupal to power their news site. That’s pretty cool! It shows just how great and powerful Drupal is. I’m interested to see what other big name companies will adopt Drupal and what various situations they will use it for.

How do you actually know or prove that Universal Music, FedEx, Nike, Etc… is actually using drupal or not? I noticed you are linked to another blog that states this informaiton but that doesn’t seems like a highly creditable source?

You can usually tell by viewing the source code for the site. There’s standard css and javascript files that Drupal will include.
The blog I linked to is one of the founders of Drupal and those big name sites usually tell him when they adopt Drupal.

Tim, you have to be quite knowledgeable and experienced to be able to distinguish the different coding and files used to build web sites. In my experience, only the best programmers and designers are so savvy and tech literate. Kudos for you Tim!
